BUSH/RICE HAVE NO FEAR
PRODUCE MONSTROSITY OF HAMAS AND EGYPTIAN BROTHERHOOD IN MIDDLE EAST
by Rabbi David Eidensohn
New York Times January 26.2006, front page headline, Hamas has 76 seats and Fatah only 43 seats in Palestinian voting. Hamas, aligned ideologically with Osama Bin-Laden, and openly working for the destruction of the State of Israel; Hamas, stained with much blood of innocent people, has been handed the leadership of the Palestinian people, not by their own deeds, but by the deeds of President George Bush and Secretary of State Rice.
Who forced Israel to cede important parts of its territory to the Palestinians? George Bush and Secretary of State Rice. Who assured us that the Palestinians really wanted peace with Israel, and not its destruction? George Bush and Secretary of State Rice. NOW THEY HAVE, IN THEIR MISTAKEN NAIVETY, ENDANGERED ISRAEL AND DEMOCRACY in the Middle East.
This is the same team who had no fear of forcing Egypt's government to become more democratic, and thus setting the stage for great gains by the fanatic Egyptian Brotherhood.
GEORGE BUSH IS TERROR'S BEST FRIEND. Only Bush can break Israel. And only Bush has Hamas on his conscience. This is because GEORGE BUSH HAS NO FEAR.
President Bush is a brave man. He rolls the dice without a tremor. And look what happens.
President Bush shares the naive idea espoused by many people that all people are evolving into liberals. The truth is, the world is going in the opposite direction. Everywhere, liberalism, a free economy, political freedom, are retreating. South America is going far to the left and abandoning its previous devotion to the free market. Russia is abandoning its efforts to liberalize and becoming Stalinistic. The Arab world is becoming ferociously Islamic and anti-America and its values.
There is a time to embrace, and a time to reject. Now is a time to choose, to embrace those who are our friends, and to fight those who are our enemies. We cannot win friends by showing weakness. We cannot live a lie that if we shower money on evil people, terrorists and murderers, they will suddenly become peaceful and good.
Again, without fear, we will support the hand that will strike the innocent. Eventually, that hand will strike America. We must fear our enemies, fight them, and support our friends. We must abandon the silly ideas that we can change cultures with a few dollars and our smile.
